So I know all of you have been sick at least a few times in your lives. Most people get sick where they have the coughs, or a sore throat. I happen to not get sick so much, but I get these headaches that I'm surprised haven't killed me yet. Unfortunately, today happens to be one of those days. And, of course, today also happens to be my busiest day of the week. Today will not be one of the more fun days of my college experience for sure. As a child I had these headaches, so my parents took me to a specialist to see if there was a reason for all of these headaches. I ended up taking medicine for it, even though it didn't work. However, now the most likely culprit would have to be a caffeine withdrawal. I have been drinking soda for pretty much every day for the past couple years. Because of how this soda drinking isn't that good for me, I have been trying to get myself to not drink it so much, or every day at that. With not drinking soda, or having caffeine, comes tremendous headaches. If there is one thing I could recommend to all of you, even if you yourself are a soda lover like me, is that you shouldn't drink soda every day. Especially not a 44 ounce soda from a gas station like I did pretty much every day of my senior year in high school. If you get to my point of caffeine addiction, no amount of Tylenol or Ibuprofen will work to stop the pain in the head. Once you get to this point, you will want desperately to go back and won't be able to because of the pain. The only thing that will fix the pain is more caffeine, which is what you are trying not to do.

My roommate would be your best soda drinking friend... On the first day of school he packed the mini fridge with soda and he's refilled it 3 times already.
ReplyDeletedude that is such a bummer, i was never a soda drinker, so i feel happy about that now. Just stick with it, its probably like cigarettes, hopefully the addiction goes away
